Also referred to as a Hair Tattoo, Head Tattoo, Scalp Tattoo, Micropigmentation, Scalp Pigmentation, and SMP, Scalp Micropigmentation is a non-invasive treatment that uses micro-needles to place pigment into the scalp. The result creates the appearance of tiny hair follicles that help thicken and restore the look of fuller hair. When administered by a trained and licensed specialist, the Scalp Micropigmentation treatment can restore receded hairlines, thicken remaining hair, camouflage transplant scarring, and create the look of close-cropped hair.
Scalp Micropigmentation is also effective for those suffering from minor hair thinning or recession. By accurately replicating your own natural hair follicles and hair color, scalp micropigmentation can help strengthen and add density to thinning areas, creating an undetectable illusion of thicker, stronger hair. Scalp micropigmentation requires little to no continued maintenance and carries no strict lifestyle or daily restrictions. It replicates the look of a buzz cut, fresh out of the barbershop. Our clients spend half the time getting ready!
The Bar Aesthetics-Micropigmentation allows you to fully customize your treatment, with input on hairline design, style preferences, and final goals.
What are the most common types of lash extensions?
There are three types of lash extensions: synthetic, silk and mink. Size availability ranges from 6mm to 17mm. Once selected, the lashes are applied one at a time using a specially formulated, semi-permanent glue that will not irritate the eye nor damage the natural lash. However, since allergic reactions are possible, there are different types of glue based on one’s sensitivity.
How long does it take to apply lash extensions?
Applying a full set of lashes takes about two hours, and can be maintained year-round with touch-ups recommended every three to four weeks. A half set of lashes are an economical alternative to achieve a similarly dramatic effect, applied as filler to thicken natural lashes, or applied outward from the eye for a specialized look.
Everyone has different lashes, and depending on the condition of your own natural lashes, lash experts can only go a certain length or thickness. (This is to ensure that your own lashes remain healthy.) For example, if your natural lashes are on the shorter, thinner side, you won’t be able to get a crazy, dramatic Kim Kardashian look, because it won’t last.
How often do you need to get lash extensions redone?
Lash extensions last through a full growth cycle of natural eyelashes, typically six to eight weeks. That said, because each person’s lash growth is somewhat variable (just hair growth), I suggest light lash maintenance every three to four weeks to maintain a full look.
Lip Blush is a semi permanent makeup procedure that produces a "just bitten, soft lip tint," a more defined lip shape, and overall color to your lips. This procedure involves the manual process of inserting pigment into the upper layers of the skin on your lips. The initial color will appear more intense, but after they are fully healed it will become a perfectly tinted amount of color. **LIPS MUST BE VIRGIN LIPS, NO PREVIOUS PMU MAKEUP* *A 4-6 WEEK TOUCHUP IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED TO FULLY COMPLETE THE PROCESS*
**ALL POTENTIAL LIP BLUSH CLIENTS MUST SEND A CLEAR PICTURE OF THEIR BARE LIPS BEFORE PROCEEDING WITH BOOKING! NOT EVERYONE CAN GET LIP BLUSH**

Microblading originated in Asia over 25 years ago and has gone by many names: eyebrow embroidery, feather touch, microstroking and even “the Japanese Method.” By 2015, microblading became popular in the United States.
Microblading eyebrows is a form of permanent makeup that creates natural, beautiful eyebrows with a handheld microblade. It’s perfect for people who have overplucked or those who want to define, darken or reshape their eyebrows. Each individual hairstroke is hand drawn by the artist and blended in with the client’s existing eyebrow hair. With Chakay at the helm, the results can be gorgeous and very lifelike.
Microblading typically takes two appointments to complete. In the first appointment, the client is profiled and the eyebrows are drawn on with a waterproof pencil, so the artist and client can agree on the look. The artist then microblades the eyebrows and the client is ready to go back into the world. There is some mild scabbing and aftercare required, but your microblading should be completely healed within 30 days.
The second appointment is a touch up at least 6 weeks after the first session. This allows enough time for the ink in the epidermis to naturally slough off, and the color to settle into your skin. In the touch up appointment, the artist can see how your skin has received the ink and make any necessary corrections.
