I was lucky to find a trustworthy microshading salon (The Bar Aesthetics) through my cousin. When I went in for my appointment, the technician (Chakay) looked at my eyebrows for about 30 seconds and knew exactly what I needed. She went over the procedure and a few things for me to choose from, but I mostly trusted her with what to do. My options were microblading or microshading. I chose microshading. In very non-technical terms, microshading (also known as micropigmentation) is like using a semi-permanent brow powder or gel to fill in and darken your existing brows (it's not actually done with those products, it's done with semi-permanent ink). I am super happy with my results and would definitely recommend The Bar Aesthetics!

This is over due, Came in a Chakay was very welcoming. It was very peaceful while getting my eye lashes done and she didn’t mind when my eyes twitched all over the place while she did my lashes. I will definitely be back. It’s been about 3 weeks and my lashes are still there I love them!

I have been going here for several months now and Chakay is amazing! I get volume lashes done here and they never look too fake or dramatic. She does a great job of choosing the right length and thickness for your natural lashes. Scheduling is also easy since you can do it online.
